Madison Edwards

Graduate Teaching Consultant

Madison Edwards is a fourth-year graduate student pursuing a PhD in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry where she studies the role of proteins in regulating mammalian development. Prior to joining the Engaged Teaching Hub, she served as a TA for General and Organic Chemistry Labs, as well as a Senior TA for Teaching Methods in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Madison is committed to creating engaging learning experiences: she has worked with local community college professors to implement active learning strategies in their courses through her role as a Graduate Student Collaborator. Madison is also passionate about supporting meaningful mentorship experiences, and has served as a Graduate Advocate, Mentor Advisor, and mentor through the Summer Training Academy for Research Success and the Chemistry Peer Advisory League. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors by running or biking!
