Abdullah is an international Ph.D. student in the electrical and computer engineering department. As a graduate teaching consultant, Abdullah is most excited about reaching out to graduate students through workshops he facilitates and designs to enrich their experience as instructors at UC San Diego and beyond. Prior to joining the Engaged Teaching Hub, Abdullah was a teaching assistant for multiple courses at UC San Diego and prior to joining the university for his Ph.D., Abdullah was an electrical engineering lecturer for 6 years: teaching lab, discussion, and lecture sections; and mentoring students in design project courses. Furthermore, during these 6 years, he designed and facilitated several programs to train new undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants on teaching lab and discussion sections.
